HOW TO MAINTAIN THE CLU11

To keep your cross-laying unit in good condition and to avoid break-down time, we recommend a regularly service of the unit. Customers producing bailer twine should do this maintenance every month while customers producing other types of materials just need to do it every third month. The below steps should be carried out during the maintenance:

  1. Open the cover and clean the unit thoroughly inside for dirt.
  2. Check lubricant and refill if necessary – we strongly recommend that only Bel-Ray 04-230 oil is used in our units.
  3. Check the screws for yarn guide.
  4. Check the clearance of the butterfly and guide block by moving the yarn guide forwards and backwards. Change worn parts if necessary.
