Efficient and Precise Rope Coiling with Robco Rope Winding Machines
A rope coiling machine or rope winding machine is a specialized piece of equipment designed to efficiently wind rope into neat, uniform coils. The coiling machine ensures uniform coil sizes, enhancing storage and handling.
The Robco rope winding machines maintains the appropriate tension in the rope as it is being coiled, preventing slack or excessive tightness.
The rope is fed directly from the production line (rope making machine) into the coiling machine. As the rope enters the coiling machine, the tension control system adjusts the tension to ensure it remains constant throughout the coiling process.
The speed of rotation and the movement of the traversing mechanism are synchronized to ensure that each layer of rope is placed correctly.
Our rope winding machines are all equipped with a length counter for automatic stop at the pre-set length. We offer both adjustable coiling speed and constant coiling speed.
Optional equipment includes pay-off unit with ’dancing arm’ control for recoiling from steel flange reels and also coiling on plastic reels, cardboard reels, plywood, reels or customer’s own reels.
